Client Problem

Our agency operates numerous IT devices, but we faced challenges in management. For instance, it often took time to identify where certain devices were located, which device caused an issue when a problem occurred, and where to find the devices we wanted.

We needed a system that could monitor the entire system and immediately identify faulty devices or serial numbers. We recognized the necessity to systematically manage various data such as rack layouts, equipment lists, serial number logs, reports, and project documents in a system rather than on paper.

While searching for a suitable solution, we found that SecureLayer's IRIS4 met these requirements, and after reviewing it through demos and tests, we decided to implement it.

SecuLayer Solution

We modernized the IT computing systems operating in approximately 140 server racks located in the IDC center with IRIS4. We organized and visualized information about each system, maintenance service providers, operational personnel, and system locations using IRIS4.

We established a management system for IT assets by systematizing technical support history, regular inspection history, and incident handling history.

We enabled the registration and deletion of IT assets individually or in bulk, allowing for systematic management of the history of new and replacement equipment.

Deployment Effect

Previously, the modernization of IT assets was not in place, so staff managed information about IT equipment sporadically through Excel sheets or handwritten notes. Routine tasks already required significant work resources, and finding related information during incidents took a lot of time.

Now, various scattered information is integrated on the IRIS4 screen, allowing us to check operational status in real-time, which has minimized concerns related to equipment management. Additionally, when issues arise, notifications for the relevant devices are generated, and we can immediately check existing operational histories, significantly reducing the time spent identifying causes.

Overall, we have experienced a substantial improvement in work efficiency by minimizing the workload related to identifying and investigating equipment.
