Securayer Files Patent for XAI Visualization Technology

Securayer announced on the 1st that it has filed a patent for technology that visualizes explainable artificial intelligence (XAI) in a user-friendly manner. CTO Yoo Jin-sang stated, “XAI is gaining attention as a next-generation core technology for solving the ‘black box’ problem of artificial intelligence,” and added, “Securayer has been consistently researching XAI technology for years to make a quantum leap with ‘NEXT AI.’” The patent includes key technology for visualizing text and image data pre-processed with XAI. It is characterized by providing masking information for data with high contribution to judgment, making XAI user-friendly. In particular, unlike existing XAI technologies that simply provide masking information, it maximizes user convenience by offering various elements that allow users to customize data visualization directly, according to Securayer. Securayer plans to incorporate the newly developed XAI technology into its AI platform ‘eyeCloudAI’ to lead the activation of the AI ecosystem. CTO Yoo stated, “Securayer developed ‘AutoAPE,’ which uses XAI and AutoML technology to transform models at the level of primates into models beyond human levels, and applied it to the AI platform at that time,” and added, “We plan to release ‘AutoAPE’ as open-source to lead the activation of the domestic AI ecosystem, so we ask for your interest.” Meanwhile, this patent was filed and registered as part of the ‘SW Computing Industry Core Technology Development Project (2020-0-00107)’ supported by the Institute for Information & Communications Technology Planning & Evaluation (IITP).
