[SECON & eGISEC 2023] Day 2 of the eGISEC Conference, Discussions on Cloud and Zero Trust

Lectures on various topics such as information security, industrial security, and cloud security to respond to advanced security threats
The 'World Security Expo & Electronic Government Information Protection Solution Fair' (SECON & eGISEC 2023) is being held successfully. The eGISEC conference runs from 10:30 AM to 5 PM across four tracks (A to D) in rooms 305 to 308 on the 3rd floor of KINTEX. On the second day of the exhibition (30th), a total of 16 conferences were held, covering various topics in depth, including information security, industrial security, and cloud security.
Track A began with a presentation by Park Jae-hyuk, Manager of SG A Solutions, on 'Current Status and Implementation Strategies of Zero Trust Architecture.' This was followed by a talk on 'Trends in Technology Evolution towards Passwordless MFA and Cloud SSO' by Lee Jae-hyung, CEO of OktaCo. Next, Yoon Dong-han, Executive Director of Query Systems, presented on 'Essential Technologies and Use Cases for Automating Threat Detection and Response Systems.' Following this, Choi Jong-woon, Team Leader of SecureLayer, presented on 'AI Security for SOC: Easily Implementing Sustainable AI Models', and So Bum-seok, Team Leader of Softflow, discussed 'Vulnerability Analysis Methods for Open Source and Target Systems for Software Supply Chain Security.'
Track B started with a presentation by Lee Kyu-won, Team Leader of East Security, on 'Utilization and Integrated Management of Intellectual Assets through Document Centralization Platform Construction.' This was followed by a talk by Park Sung-won, Senior Manager of Handreamnet, on 'Advanced Security Threats and Solutions through Network Switches (Case Studies of Security Threat Responses).' Additionally, Kim Chung-il, Director of PNP Secure, presented on 'The Importance of Integrated Access Control for Strengthening Cloud Security.' Following this, Han Woong, Director of Data Protect, and Song Tae-hwan, Team Leader, discussed 'Control Measures for External Laptops for Industrial Security.' Finally, Lee Joo-ho, CEO of Digital Sense, continued with a presentation on 'Configuration and Technology Trends of Unmanned Access Management Systems.'
In Track C, Kang Bong-ho, Technical Director of ICTK Holdings, presented on 'Zero Trust and Quantum Security in the DX Era,' while Song Gun-ho, Director of Easy Security, discussed 'Intelligent Justification Processing Systems for High Scores in Level Diagnosis.' This was followed by a talk by Woo Jong-hyun, CEO of Estom, on 'How to Easily and Safely Protect Accounts and Data from Cyber Attacks (Focusing on Public Institutions and Financial Organizations).' Next, Jang In-ho, Deputy Manager of CodeMind, presented on 'Current Status and Application of Test Automation in S/W Unit Testing,' and the final presentation was by Kwon Hyuk-in, Technical Director of Menlo Security, on 'Internet Network Separation Strategy through Web Isolation (RBI).'
In Track D, Choi Myung-hee, Senior Researcher at the Korea Internet & Security Agency, presented on 'Performance Evaluation Systems and Utilization Methods for Information Security Products.' The second presentation was by Lee Do-yoon, Deputy Manager of HuneSion, on 'Starting Monitoring for Operational Security.' Additionally, Talib Yoursry, APJ Channels Director of SSNC, discussed 'Cloud-Based Cybersecurity: How to Protect Critical Assets in a Distributed Work Environment' as a topic. Following this, Yoon Dae-jun, Executive Director of Magnet, presented on 'Ensuring Service Quality Visibility in Cloud Environments,' and finally, Koo Byeong-chun, Director of Thales Korea, concluded with a presentation on 'Managing Sensitive Data in the Public Cloud.'
Meanwhile, the 22nd World Security Expo (SECON & eGISEC 2023), the largest integrated security exhibition in Korea encompassing physical and cybersecurity, features a total of 103 sessions across 15 tracks, including the Electronic Government Information Protection Conference and the Security World Conference.
