SecuLayer's SIEM·SOAR Products Selected as Standard Educational Tools for KISA's Practical Cyber Training Center

The Ministry of Science and ICT (Minister Lee Jong-ho, hereinafter 'MSIT') and the Korea Internet & Security Agency (Director Lee Won-tae, hereinafter 'KISA') have selected SecuLayer's eyeCloudXOAR product as an educational tool for information security in the SIEM and SOAR fields at the 'Practical Cyber Training Center (Security-GYM)' jointly operated in Pangyo. The Practical Cyber Training Center is being expanded as part of the 'Cybersecurity 100,000 Talent Development Plan' announced by the government last July, and it offers practical training along with a thorough understanding of intrusion incident situations, resulting in high educational demand from job seekers and current employees every year. To achieve the goal of 'training 100,000 cybersecurity talents,' MSIT and KISA are expanding the educational training servers of the practical training center to accommodate more than double the number of trainees compared to the previous year, increasing the number of training courses from 7 to 19, including real-time hacking defense training, and adding a variety of information security products from 2 to 12 for practical training. This initiative aims to establish a virtual intrusion incident environment based on recent hacking scenarios for job seekers and current employees, providing level-specific training courses that include intrusion incident investigation, attack defense training, and practical exercises using commercial information security products. The 'Unidirectional Intrusion Incident Defense and Analysis Training' course within the practical cyber intrusion response program trains participants to defend against intrusions into a virtual corporate infrastructure environment and to develop countermeasures through vulnerability information collection and analysis of intrusion cases. The 'Bidirectional Practical Offense and Defense Training Course' trains participants to defend against assigned infrastructure while simultaneously attacking the opposing infrastructure, cultivating the ability to respond to actual intrusion incidents. SecuLayer's CEO Jeon Joo-ho stated, "We are pleased that the eyeCloudXOAR software has been selected as an information security educational tool for the project conducted by KISA and MSIT, contributing to the enhancement of our country's information security capabilities. He added, "To respond to increasingly sophisticated and intelligent cyberattacks, training specialized personnel in cyber intrusion response is of utmost importance, and participants in this KISA training will receive preferential points upon joining our company, leading the way in developing specialized personnel."
