Seculayer Strengthens Agile Development Culture with SSDLC… “Enhancing Development Efficiency”

Seculayer (CEO Jeon Joo-ho) has embarked on a transformation to strengthen its Agile development culture. On the 13th, Seculayer announced that it has introduced its own development system, ‘SSDLC’, to establish a robust Agile development culture and enhance quality. Kim Gun-woo, Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Seculayer, stated, “It is difficult for existing Agile methodologies to be accurately applied to all companies,” adding, “Through numerous trials and errors, we have successfully built a unique Agile development culture at Seculayer.” SSDLC (Seculayer Software Development Life Cycle) is Seculayer's proprietary system that manages software development methodologies and various support systems. They explained that by providing SSDLC to operate development project management, issue tracking, and product version management in an Agile manner, they have increased development efficiency. To establish an Agile development culture, Seculayer has not only adopted systematic methodologies like SSDLC but also reorganized its technology research institute. This is to foster a horizontal atmosphere where employees can share creative ideas. To achieve this, the Seculayer technology research institute has eliminated the hierarchical structure by removing rank systems and introducing a culture of titles. Furthermore, any developer with sufficient capabilities can be designated as a master (administrator) regardless of rank, allowing them to lead small-scale projects. Kim Gun-woo, CTO of Seculayer, emphasized, “For development efficiency to increase, a flexible, creative, and horizontal Agile development culture must take root in the organization, which will lead to service improvements and enhanced quality. We plan to expand our Agile development culture to become a technology organization that drives proactive innovation from the bottom up.”
