SecuLayer-SK Shieldus, Strategic Synergy to Lead the AI Security Market

Introducing the On-Premises Edge AI Cybersecurity Advisory Assistant ‘eyeCloudAI Assistant’ at ISEC 2025…
Creating synergy by combining technological prowess and expertise
SecuLayer (CEO Jeon Joo-ho), a specialized company in AI-based cybersecurity solutions, announced that it will intensify efforts to maximize strategic synergy with SK Shieldus (CEO Min Gi-sik), the number one cybersecurity firm in Korea.
At the recently held ISEC 2025, the two companies showcased next-generation AI security technologies that combine their core strengths under the slogan, “When expertise (Knowledge) and technology (Technology) meet, security is finally complete.”
At this exhibition, SecuLayer introduced the ‘eyeCloudAI Assistant,’ born from its AI technology.
This on-premises Edge AI Assistant, developed in-house by SecuLayer, is built as an add-on to the AI-based analysis solution ‘eyeCloudAI.’ It provides customized security monitoring services based on internal organizational data that is disconnected from external networks. This overcomes the limitations of existing SaaS-based AI assistants and offers optimized security information through deep learning of internal organizational data in an on-premises environment.
Additionally, SK Shieldus introduced its AI security monitoring service (MSS) and the ‘Managed Detection and Response (MDR)’ service, which enables real-time threat detection and response. The AI-based security monitoring service goes beyond existing MSS by analyzing logs and traffic in real-time to quickly detect early signs of hacking attempts. Detected threats are precisely analyzed by security experts, and if abnormal behavior is confirmed, immediate blocking and response actions are taken. It can be implemented on a subscription basis without additional personnel, allowing even companies with limited security capabilities to respond effectively.
In the future, both companies plan to provide SecuLayer’s security solutions, including ‘eyeCloudAI,’ to SK Shieldus customers and lead the next-generation AI security technology through joint research and development.
Park Ryun-soon, head of planning and management at SecuLayer, stated, “By combining SK Shieldus’s top cybersecurity capabilities in Korea with SecuLayer’s innovative AI technology, we will provide customers with more differentiated security services,” adding, “Furthermore, we will expand cooperation into various areas directly related to customer safety.”
