SecuLayer Signs MOU with Uzbekistan's State-Owned Telecom Company 'Uztelecom'

Establishing a Key Base for Global Market Expansion
Promoting Local Technology Partner Discovery and Joint Marketing Cooperation

SecuLayer, a company specializing in AI-based cybersecurity solutions, announced on the 1st that it has signed a strategic memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Uzbekistan's state-owned telecom company Uztelecom, paving the way for entry into the Central Asian market.

Uztelecom is a key telecommunications operator owned and operated by the Uzbekistan government, overseeing the construction and operation of the national communication infrastructure and providing services to approximately 230 public institutions and enterprises.

The signing ceremony was attended by key officials including Hasanov Nazirjon, Chairman of Uztelecom, and Jeong Kyung-sik, Head of the Solution Business Division at SecuLayer, along with employees from both companies. The two parties agreed to collaborate on △ SIEM and SOAR business cooperation △ joint marketing events in the Uzbekistan market △ joint discovery of local technology partners. Additionally, SecuLayer plans to propose the establishment of a new data center in Uzbekistan based on its experience in building cyber safety centers in South Korea.

Furthermore, SecuLayer has also signed a separate MOU with the local security company TrustTech to strengthen cooperation in the financial security sector. Otabek Boltaboev, CEO of TrustTech, attended the signing ceremony, and the two companies will focus on expanding the financial security market through technology and business cooperation targeting Uzbekistan's financial institutions, as well as jointly proposing specialized SIEM and SOAR solutions for the financial market.

Jeong Kyung-sik, Executive Director of SecuLayer, stated, “The signing of these two MOUs has secured a significant foothold in key areas of Uzbekistan's public communication infrastructure and financial market,” and added, “We will expand our business starting from Uzbekistan to the entire Central Asia and further into the global market.”
