SecuLayer (CEO Jeon Ju-ho), a domestic AI-based information security solution company, and QuadMiner (CEO Park Beom-jung), a specialist in cybersecurity observability and NDR (Network Detection and Response), announced that they have signed a strategic business agreement to jointly promote cybersecurity solutions and enter overseas markets.

This agreement is noteworthy as it marks the collaboration of two companies that lead the domestic market with their unique technological capabilities in their respective fields. As cyberattacks utilizing AI have become more sophisticated and automated, the need for a 'complete defense system' that handles everything from threat detection to root cause analysis and automated response has grown. However, relying solely on fragmented logs or network data makes it difficult to fully understand the context of threats and the flow of attacks, limiting precise analysis and rapid response. To overcome these limitations, a context data-driven approach that interprets the relationships between events and the flow of actions is essential.

To address these challenges, the two companies will integrate SecuLayer's AI-based integrated security platform (SIEM·SOAR) 'eyeCloudXOAR' with QuadMiner's NDR solution 'Network Blackbox', which is based on context data-driven AI security observability technology.

This integration will reconstruct various security events, including logs and network traffic, into 'context data', allowing for precise analysis of the causal relationships and attack flows of threats, thereby implementing 'context-based security observability' that goes beyond traditional visibility. They plan to introduce an advanced next-generation SOC (Security Operations Center) solution to the market based on this.

Notably, the synergy between the two companies has already been validated on the global stage. During the process of securing SOC services for PT Digital Aplikasi Solusi, an Indonesian telecommunications-based IT service company, the technical integration and business viability of both solutions were proven in practice. This MOU is expected to formalize this successful model while serving as a stepping stone for joint entry into the Asian and global security monitoring markets, using Indonesia as a foothold.

Under the agreement, the two companies will closely collaborate in five specific areas: △Linking SIEM·SOAR and NDR·network forensics technologies and implementing an integrated platform △Joint research on AI-based threat detection and analysis technologies △Planning, development, and commercialization of context data-based hybrid security analysis models △Jointly exploring domestic and international markets in public, finance, telecommunications, manufacturing, and defense sectors, along with joint sales and proposals △Joint marketing, seminars, and securing technical verification (PoC) and references.

To maximize the effectiveness of this agreement, the two companies established a working committee immediately after signing. They will begin verifying the integration technology of the unified solution and, through joint seminars and pilot projects, aim to secure joint references within Q3 of this year, followed by full commercialization and business development in the second half of the year.

Seo Jun-bae, CEO of Utron, the official partner of both companies, stated, “Integrating log-based state information and network traffic-based behavioral information into context data is essential for completing AI threat response,” and added, “We will maximize technical synergy based on the supply and execution experience we have accumulated in the field.”

Jeon Ju-ho, CEO of SecuLayer, remarked, “If SecuLayer's big data log analysis technology, developed over the past 15 years, combines with QuadMiner's cybersecurity observability and NDR technology, we will gain a strong competitive edge in the rapidly growing global market for next-generation SOCs,” and stated, “This collaboration will be the starting point for establishing a new standard in the South Korean security industry.”

Park Beom-jung, CEO of QuadMiner, emphasized, “The combination of context data-driven AI security observability and SIEM·SOAR allows us to understand the entire attack flow and intent of threats beyond fragmented event analysis, effectively capturing even advanced persistent threats (APTs) that were difficult to detect with existing single solutions,” and added, “Based on the successful case proven in the Indonesian DigiServ project, we will actively expand our collaborative territory not only domestically but also into the global market, including Asia.”
